The Japanese products use Japanese meanings; the global products use English definitions and examples. This policy describes the Android apps.

1. 運営者と連絡先

運営者はG-Prep Inc.です。データ取扱いについては app-support@g-prep.co.jp へお問い合わせください。

2. アプリ内の記録

日本版は学習済み・重要単語、My Listの入力語と意味、並び順、再開位置を端末内に保存します。世界版は学習した語、お気に入り・習得済み、復習予定、誤答と日時、個人用語・リスト、再開位置、表示と音声の設定を保存します。操作再開に必要な一時状態も端末内で扱います。

これらの学習記録をG-Prepのサーバーへ自動送信する機能はありません。現行版にはアプリのアカウント登録、広告・追跡用SDK、G-Prep独自のアクセス解析・クラッシュ送信機能はありません。日本版のGoogle認可SDKが扱う情報は次項に記載します。同梱教材と保存した記録はオフラインで利用できます。外部検索、ウェブ、メール、クラウド上のファイル保存先は各外部サービスを利用します。

2a. 日本版の任意Google Drive同期

同期は初めはオフです。オンにしてGoogleアカウントを認可すると、収録語の学習済み・重要、My Listの語句・意味・学習済み・重要、および統合のためのインストールごとの識別子・変更順序・解除履歴を、利用者のGoogle Driveのアプリ専用領域へ送信します。同じGoogleアカウントと同じ日本語版商品で記録を統合し、表示位置・再開位置・ランダム表示順は同期しません。GMAT版とGRE版、日本語版と世界版では記録を共有しません。

G-Prepのサーバーへ同期記録を送信する実装はありません。Driveへの通信はHTTPSを使います。エンドツーエンド暗号化を保証する説明ではありません。日本版の任意同期にはGoogleの認可機能を使います。認可したGoogleアカウントに対応するアクセス情報をGoogleへ送り、Googleがアカウントを識別してDriveへのアクセスを確認します。アプリがGoogleアカウントの氏名・メールアドレス・プロフィールを取得する実装や、Googleへのアクセス情報を独自に永続保存する実装はありません。認可やアクセス許可の解除などに伴い、GoogleのSDKからAPIの種類、処理結果、所要時間などの技術診断情報がGoogleへ送られ、サービスの品質・安定性の技術分析に使われる場合があります。Googleによる情報の取扱いはGoogleのプライバシーポリシーに従います。このGoogle認可SDKの処理は世界版にはありません。独自アカウント登録、広告、サブスクリプションはありません。

同期をオフにする、Googleへのアクセス許可を解除する、端末内の記録を消す操作は、Drive上のデータ削除とは異なります。アプリにはDrive同期ファイルの直接削除機能がありません。アプリデータ消去後や再インストール後でも、再認可・同期によりDriveの記録が端末へ戻る場合があります。Drive上のデータ削除や再送信防止については、app-support@g-prep.co.jpへお問い合わせください。

解除履歴には実装上の保存期限がありません。My Listで削除した語の正規化された識別文字列が解除履歴に残る場合があります。他端末や以前のコピーに元の語・意味が残る場合もあります。統合前の復旧コピーを端末内に直前1世代保持し、個別コピーの削除機能はありません。初期化はこのコピーの消去と同じ操作ではありません。Google Driveや他端末の記録は端末内の消去・復旧では一括削除されません。日本版に手動JSON書き出し機能はありません。世界版にGoogle Drive同期はありません。

3. 発音・読み上げ

読み上げを操作すると、対象の単語・意味・例文を端末で選択された音声読み上げサービスへ渡します。自分で追加した語や意味も、読み上げを選ぶと対象になります。アプリはオフラインで利用できる音声を選びます。必要な音声が未導入の場合は再生できず、音声データの取得には通信が必要な場合があります。

音声サービスは端末設定と提供元の方針に従って動作します。アプリがマイクで声を録音したり、録音をG-Prepへ送信したりする機能はありません。

4. 外部検索と辞書

日本版のカードまたはMy Listで詳細辞書を開くと、選択した語をAndroidの対応する辞書アプリへ渡します。Android 9以前や対応する辞書がない場合は案内を表示します。「Webで意味を検索」またはカードの「Web検索」を自分で選んだときに、その語を検索語としてGoogle検索を外部ブラウザーで開きます。その語はブラウザーと検索サービスへ渡され、各サービスの履歴・データ取扱いの対象になります。入力語に個人情報を含めた場合も同様です。

辞書の内容、通信、履歴の扱いは選んだ辞書アプリの仕様と方針に従います。OS辞書本文や読み上げ音声を抽出して配布する機能はありません。

5. 手動バックアップ

世界版では、自分の操作で学習記録をJSONファイルへ書き出し、同じ製品のバックアップを読み込めます。ファイルには学習記録、個人用語・リスト、誤答と日時などが含まれます。読み込みはプレビュー後に確認して置き換えます。

保存先はAndroidのファイル選択画面で指定します。端末内または利用中のクラウドサービスを選べる場合があり、その保存先がファイルを扱います。アプリはこの操作のためにG-Prepのサーバーへ送信しません。JSONはアプリ独自の暗号化を行っていません。保存先のアクセス管理・通信・削除は提供元の機能と方針に従います。

自動同期ではなく、iOSの購入や既存履歴が自動移行する機能でもありません。日本版には現状この手動JSONバックアップ機能はありません。

6. 保持・削除と復旧用コピー

記録は削除・リセットまたはアプリデータ消去まで保持します。日本版は科目ごとの学習済み・重要記録とMy Listを操作して削除できます。My Listから既存教材の語を除いても、元の教材の学習済み・重要記録は保持されます。

世界版のリセットは現在の学習プロフィールを空にします。誤操作から記録を守るため、読み込みやリセットの前には端末内に復旧用コピーを残します。これらには自動削除期限がなく、アプリ内リセットだけでは消えません。再開用セッションのコピーは、次の同種のセッションで置き換えられるまで端末内に残る場合があります。書き出し中の一時コピーは通常、完了・取消後に削除します。失敗時は復旧のため保持します。

私有データをまとめて消すには、Android設定のアプリ情報からストレージ内のデータを消去します。アンインストールでも私有データは削除されますが、自分で書き出したファイルや複製は別です。ファイル管理・クラウドサービスで個別に削除してください。

7. Androidのバックアップ・端末移行

本アプリはOSの自動クラウドバックアップを無効にし、対応するAndroidバックアップ・端末間移行の設定で私有データとアプリ用外部保存領域を除外します。メーカーやOSの移行機能が常に同一動作をするとの保証ではありません。OSの端末移行はアプリの任意同期とは異なり、自分で書き出したコピーはこの除外設定の対象ではありません。

8. 問い合わせと外部ページ

サポート操作は外部メールアプリまたはウェブページを開きます。学習記録が自動添付されることはありません。本人が問い合わせとして送ったメールアドレス・本文・添付は、対応のために利用します。不要な個人情報を含めないでください。問い合わせ情報の確認・削除は上記窓口へご連絡ください。ウェブ、メール、検索、音声、ファイル保存先には各提供元の方針も適用されます。

9. 変更

データの取扱いが変わる場合は、この方針とアプリ内の案内を更新します。

1. Operator and contact

These apps are operated by G-Prep Inc. Contact app-support@g-prep.co.jp about their handling of data.

2. Records in the app

The Japanese products store learned and important words, My List entries and meanings, ordering and resume positions on your device. The global products store studied, favorite and known words, review schedules, mistakes and timestamps, personal terms and lists, resume positions, and appearance and speech preferences. Temporary state needed to continue an activity is also handled on the device.

The apps do not automatically send these learning records to a G-Prep server. The current version has no app account registration, advertising or tracking SDKs, or G-Prep-operated analytics or crash-report uploads. Data handled by the Google authorization SDK in the Japanese editions is described below. Bundled content and saved records can be used offline. External search, websites, email and cloud document locations use their respective services.

2a. Optional Google Drive sync in the Japanese editions

Sync is off initially. Enabling sync and authorizing a Google account sends learned and important markers for included words, My List words and meanings with their markers, and installation identifiers, ordering information and removal history to the user's private application data area in Google Drive. Records are merged only within the same Japanese Wordbook product and Google account. Display and resume positions and random display order remain local. GMAT and GRE, and the Japanese and worldwide products, do not share progress.

The implementation does not send sync records to a G-Prep server. Drive requests use HTTPS; this is not a guarantee of end-to-end encryption. The Japanese editions use Google authorization for optional sync. The app sends Google access credentials associated with the authorized account so that Google can identify the account and control access to Drive. The app does not retrieve the account's name, email address or profile and does not independently persist Google access credentials. During authorization, revocation and related operations, Google's SDK may send Google technical diagnostics, such as the API operation, result and processing time, for technical analysis of service quality and stability. Google's handling of this information is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. These Google authorization SDK operations do not apply to the worldwide editions. There is no independent app account registration, advertising or subscription.

Turning sync off, revoking Google authorization or clearing local records does not delete existing Drive data. The app has no direct control for deleting Drive sync files. After clearing app data or reinstalling, authorizing and syncing again may bring Drive records back to the device. Contact app-support@g-prep.co.jp about deleting Drive data and preventing renewed uploads.

Removal history has no expiry in the implementation. A normalized identifier of a deleted My List word may remain in removal history. Earlier words or meanings may remain on other devices or in old copies. A single local pre-merge recovery copy is retained, with no control for individually deleting it. Resetting local progress is separate from deleting this copy. Local clearing or restoring does not delete records on Drive or other devices. The Japanese editions have no manual JSON export feature. The worldwide editions have no Google Drive sync.

3. Pronunciation and speech

When you request speech, the app passes the selected word, meaning or example to the text-to-speech service selected on your device. This includes personal words or meanings if you choose to read them aloud. The app selects offline voices. Playback may fail if a required voice is missing; downloading voice data may require internet access.

The speech service operates under your device settings and its provider's policies. The app does not record your microphone or upload voice recordings to G-Prep.

4. External search and dictionaries

In the Japanese products, opening the detailed dictionary from a card or My List passes the selected word to a compatible Android dictionary app. On Android 9 or earlier, or if no dictionary is available, the app shows an explanation. Google search receives the selected word in an external browser only when you choose the Web meaning search or card Web search button. The browser and search provider receive that text and handle it under their history and data policies. This also applies if you entered personal information as a word.

Dictionary content, networking and history depend on the selected dictionary app and its policies. The apps do not extract system dictionary text or voice audio for redistribution.

5. Manual backups

The global products let you export progress to JSON and import a backup for the same product. This includes learning records, personal terms and lists, mistakes and timestamps. Import shows a preview and requires confirmation before replacement.

You choose a location using Android's file picker. It may offer local storage or a cloud service you use. The selected provider handles the file. The app does not upload it to a G-Prep server for this operation. Exported JSON is not encrypted by the app. Access controls, transport and deletion depend on the chosen provider.

This is not automatic sync and does not automatically transfer iOS purchases or existing history. The Japanese products currently do not offer this manual JSON backup feature.

6. Retention, deletion and recovery copies

Records remain until you remove or reset them or clear the app's data. In the Japanese products, you can clear category learning and important flags and remove My List entries. Removing a built-in word from My List does not erase its original learning or important flags.

Reset in the global products empties the active profile. Before import or reset, the app keeps a private recovery copy to protect against mistaken replacement. These copies have no automatic expiry and are not removed by resetting the active profile. Session copies used to resume an activity may remain on the device until replaced by the next session of the same kind. A pending export copy is normally removed after completion or cancellation and retained after a failure for recovery.

Use Android Settings to clear the app's storage to remove its private data together. Uninstalling also removes private app data, but exported files and their copies are separate. Delete them through the relevant file manager or cloud provider.

7. Android backup and device transfer

The app disables automatic OS cloud backup and excludes its private data and app-specific external storage through supported Android backup and device-transfer settings. This does not guarantee identical behavior by every manufacturer or OS migration feature. OS device transfer is separate from optional app sync. Copies you exported yourself are outside these exclusions.

8. Support and external pages

Support opens an external email app or website. Learning records are not automatically attached. Email addresses, messages and attachments you choose to send are used to respond to your request. Avoid unnecessary personal details. Contact the address above to ask about or request deletion of support correspondence. Websites, email, search, speech and document providers also have their own policies.
