Android support

The Android editions are in testing and are not yet available for sale on Google Play.

Four separate vocabulary apps

Each app has its own vocabulary and saved progress. An iOS purchase or learning history does not automatically transfer to Android.

Contact G-Prep

Email app-support@g-prep.co.jp in English or Japanese. Include the app name, app version, Android version, device model and the steps that led to the problem. Remove personal information from screenshots before sending them.

Do not send passwords, verification codes or payment-card details.

Offline study and pronunciation

The included vocabulary, definitions and saved local progress can be used offline. Pronunciation uses an installed Android speech service and its offline voices. Voice downloads, external dictionary searches and online support may require an internet connection.

  1. Check media volume and Bluetooth or headphone output.
  2. Check the speech service and installed English voices in Android settings. The Japanese editions also need a Japanese voice for continuous English-and-Japanese playback.
  3. Try the selected US or UK voice. The English editions can use another installed offline English voice when the selected regional voice is unavailable.
  4. If no supported voice is available, continue text study and install a suitable voice before trying playback again.

The apps do not record your voice.

Learning records

Progress is saved separately for each app. A normal app update should retain it. If saving or reading progress fails, keep the existing data and contact support before clearing app storage.

In the English editions, Settings → Export progress creates a manual backup. Import progress lets you inspect a backup from the same product before replacing the active profile. Keep exported copies private. Resetting the app does not delete copies you saved elsewhere.

The Japanese editions implement optional Google Drive sync, which starts off and uses Google authorization when enabled. It merges learning markers and My List words, meanings and markers within the same Japanese product and Google account. Real authorization and transfer checks are still in progress before release. iCloud records and iOS purchases do not automatically transfer.

日本版の同期・復旧

学習記録の同期

メニューの「同期」を開くと、見出し「学習記録の同期」が表示されます。「同期 オフ」と表示されたスイッチをオンにしてGoogleアカウントを認可します。同期は初めはオフです。同じGoogleアカウントを使う同じ日本語版商品のAndroid端末間で、収録語の学習済み・重要と、My Listの単語・意味・学習済み・重要を統合します。GMAT版とGRE版、日本語版と世界版の記録は共有しません。表示位置・再開位置・ランダム表示順は端末ごとに保持します。保存した変更やアプリの前面復帰後に同期を試み、利用中は約1分間隔でも再試行します。通信できない間も端末内に変更を保存します。完了は同期画面の状態で確認してください。通信や認可の状態により時間がかかります。「今すぐ同期」からも再試行できます。

統合前の記録へ戻す

メニュー「同期」→「直前の統合前バックアップへ戻す」→「端末の記録を戻す」→「戻す」。確認後に同期をオフにし、この端末の記録を保存済みの直前の統合前コピーへ戻します。この操作はGoogle Driveの記録を書き換えません。再び同期をオンにすると復元後の変更も統合されます。コピーはこの端末の直前1世代で、個別に削除する操作はありません。保存先の確認を受け入れた後、初回や受信した変更の統合前に保存するため、すべての操作前の記録が常に残るとは限りません。

同期を停止・解除・削除する

同期をオフにすると以後の同期を停止します。「Googleへのアクセス許可を解除」からGoogleの許可を取り消せます。どちらの操作も、すでにGoogle Driveへ保存された記録を削除しません。アプリにはDriveの同期ファイルを直接削除する機能がありません。端末内の消去や復旧も、Driveや他端末の記録を一括削除しません。初期化と、復旧コピーなどを含む端末内のデータ消去は別の操作です。再インストール後も、再認可・同期するとDriveの記録が戻る場合があります。解除履歴に保存期限はなく、My Listで削除した語の正規化された識別文字列が残る場合があります。他端末や以前のコピーに元の語・意味が残る場合もあります。Drive上のデータ削除についてはapp-support@g-prep.co.jpへお問い合わせください。日本語版に手動JSON書き出し機能はありません。

音声と端末移行

選んだUS・UKの英語と日本語に対応するオフライン音声データをインストールしてください。音声エンジンや導入済みデータによって利用できる声が異なります。外部辞書や自分で開くWeb検索の通信条件は提供元によります。Androidの4商品は別の有料商品です。iOSの購入や学習履歴は自動移行しません。

日本語でのお問い合わせ

Android版4本は公開前のテスト中です。お問い合わせは app-support@g-prep.co.jp へ、アプリ名・バージョン・端末名・Androidのバージョン・問題が起きる手順をお知らせください。

収録単語と端末内の学習記録はオフラインで利用できます。音声には対応する英語・日本語の音声データが必要です。音声を利用できない場合も、文字での学習は続けられます。

詳しい意味の表示は、対応する辞書アプリへ引き継ぎます。辞書アプリが使えない場合は案内を表示し、ご自身でWeb検索を選んだときにブラウザを開きます。日本版には任意Google Drive同期を実装しています。同期は初めはオフで、利用時にGoogleアカウントの認可が必要です。公開前の実認可・通信検証を進めています。iOSでの購入や学習履歴の自動移行はありません。

Google Play installation checks

Google Play may check that your copy was obtained through Google Play. Included study materials and local progress remain available offline, but the Play Store may need to reconnect if it has been offline for a long period. If an installation check appears, reconnect the Play Store and use the Google account that obtained the app. Keep your app data; clearing it is not a troubleshooting step for this check.

Google Playから配信された版では、インストール元の確認が行われる場合があります。収録教材と端末内の記録はオフラインで利用できますが、Play Storeが長期間オフラインの場合、確認のために再接続が必要になることがあります。確認画面が出た場合は、アプリを取得したGoogleアカウントでPlay Storeを通信可能にしてください。この確認のためにアプリのデータを消去する必要はありません。
